Get Top Donor Compensation with My Asian Donor
If you're considering becoming an egg donor, you may be wondering about the compensation you'll receive for your time and effort. At My Asian Donor, we believe that egg donors should be fairly compensated for their contributions to the fertility process. Egg donors of Asian descent, including Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Thai, Filipino, South Asian, Mongolian, Indian, East Indian, and others, are in high demand, and as a result, can expect to earn highly competitive compensation packages.
At My Asian Donor, we offer competitive compensation packages to our donors, which reflect the time, effort, and commitment required to go through the egg donation process. It is also important to know that you will never be responsible for paying any costs during the retrieval cycle.
How Much are Egg Donors Compensated?
First time egg donors are paid $8,000-$10,000 and repeat egg donors are paid $12,000 or more in compensation, depending on the outcome of their previous cycle(s). Donors who are especially qualified can earn more. Fill out our online application to get started and learn how much you can receive.
When are Egg Donors Paid?
As an egg donor, you will receive your compensation after the completion of the egg retrieval procedure regardless of the number of eggs retrieved. You also can learn more about the timeline and the Egg Donation Process.
Can I Donate My Eggs More Than Once?
Yes! You can donate your eggs up to six times. After your egg retrieval cycle is complete, our coordination team will request the medical records from your egg donation cycle. Upon your next match request from intended parents, your records will be provided to the next IVF clinic for review to determine if you are an ideal candidate for another cycle. Also, experienced egg donors earn more money.
Will I Be Responsible for Any Costs?
No. As an egg donor, you will not be responsible to pay for any part of the egg donation cycle out of pocket. In rare cases, some costs such as office copays may be required but My Asian Donor will always reimburse you these costs in a timely manner. Your intended parents are responsible for all costs for the cycle, including:
Medical and Psychological Expenses
The medical and psychological screenings and evaluations are paid for by your intended parents. As an egg donor, you gain valuable knowledge about your genetic, physical, and reproductive health as a result of the screening process.
Legal Fees
Before beginning the injectable cycle medications, egg donors are required to enter a legal agreement with the intended parents. The legal contract is facilitated by an independent attorney provided by the egg donation agency. To ensure a comprehensive understanding of the legal process, egg donors are required to undergo a legal consultation prior to signing their contracts. This provides egg donors with the necessary knowledge regarding their rights and obligations in relation to their egg donation cycle.
Egg Donor Insurance
Although rare, we take any potential complications seriously. To mitigate risks, we provide all our egg donors with an egg donation cycle insurance policy. This policy ensures that any medical expenses incurred due to complications arising from the egg donation process will be covered.
Travel Expenses
- Airfare: if the egg donor resides outside the immediate vicinity of the IVF clinic, it may be necessary for them to travel to the city where the clinic is located. In such cases, we provide one coach airfare ticket for the egg donor's medical screening appointment, and two coach airfare tickets for the egg donor and an authorized companion during the egg retrieval process.
- Ground Transportation: We offer reimbursement to egg donors for fuel costs at a per-mile rate when they use their own vehicle to travel for medical appointments associated with the egg donation process. In the event that an egg donor doesn't have a car or needs to travel to a different city, we provide them with reasonable ground transportation for mandatory travel, such as transfer to and from the airport, doctor appointments, and procedures.
- Meals: Egg donors receive a daily meal allowance per diem for travel.
- Parking: Egg donors are reimbursed for reasonable parking expenses during cycle travel.
- Lodging: For egg donors who need to travel outside of their driving range and stay overnight for their medical appointments or procedures, we make sure to arrange reasonable hotel accommodations close to the medical facility. During the egg retrieval process, the egg donor and their authorized travel companion will share the same hotel accommodations.
- Companion: At My Asian Donor, we prioritize the safety and comfort of our egg donors. We understand that having a companion during and after the egg retrieval procedure can be helpful, which is why we allow egg donors to choose a companion to accompany them back home or to the hotel. If an egg donor is traveling alone, we won't release them from the IVF clinic after their egg retrieval procedure. For egg donors who need to fly for the procedure, we cover the cost of their companion's airfare and meals. Whenever possible, the companion will share the same hotel room with the egg donor and receive ground transportation.
